Artist: Jeff Baij

I like this peice by Jeff Baij because the black and white photography doesn’t take away from the fact that the guy is painting a power button.  The photoshopping that he performed on this picture is very well done.  The composition is interesting and since no one color is dominating the photo it’s easy to enjoy many different elements about it.  The special something that catches my eye are the harsh straight and diagonal lines in the background of the picture. These contrast well with the round circle of the power button.

Noah Scalin

Noah Scalin is an artist out of Richmond, Va.  He is very talented and I found this piece from his skull a day project.  It speaks to me because I love when the leaves are on the ground and I love skulls.  The composition of this skull evokes a lot of emotion becuase the vibe is cold.  I really like it.
